We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team in Pleiku, Gia Lai, a city with a cool climate and low cost of living. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native proficiency in English and a passion for teaching and fostering language development in students. Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students of varying proficiency levels, from young learners (kids) to adults.
Plan and prepare lessons tailored to students’ needs, ages, and learning objectives, including specialized courses for Cambridge exams (e.g., KET, PET, FCE, CAE) and IELTS preparation.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their language development and exam readiness.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage active participation.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and curricula suitable for different levels and exam-focused courses.
Participate in occasional school events or activities as required.
Native or near-native proficiency in English, with a preference for candidates who can bring diverse cultural perspectives to enhance the learning experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification or equivalent teaching qualification.
IELTS certification (minimum overall band score of 7.0) or a C1-level English proficiency certificate (e.g., Cambridge CAE or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Experience in teaching Cambridge exams (e.g., KET, PET, FCE) and/or IELTS preparation is highly desirable.
Previous teaching experience, especially with diverse age groups (kids to adults), is an advantage but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learners, from young children to adult professionals, and to meet exam-specific requirements.
Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Teaching Hours: 80–100 hours per month.
Schedule: Fixed one day off per week.
Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
