We're Hiring: Early Elementary Lead Teacher (Grades 1–2)

The International School of Asia, Koh Lanta (ISA) is currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified educator to join our growing team for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will lead our Early Elementary class (Grades 1–2) and teach the following subjects:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Science
• Social Studies
• Health

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand

OR

• Fluent English speakers of other nationalities with one of the following minimum test scores:

– TOEFL iBT: 80 | TOEFL CBT: 213 | IELTS: 5.5 | TOEIC: 700

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution

• TEFL, CELTA, PGCEi, M.Ed. or equivalent credentials preferred

• 1–2 years of classroom teaching experience required

• Proficiency in basic IT tools: Word, PowerPoint, Excel

• Clean police background check

Preferred

• A teaching license from the Teachers’ Council of Thailand is an asset
