Join Our Team as an Online English Teacher!

We are EHello, an online English education platform based in Nanjing, China. We’re currently looking for passionate online English teachers to join our team!

Job Description: Online English Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lesson plans based on textbook content that align with curriculum standards.
• Provide post-class evaluations for students, covering aspects such as grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, and classroom performance, and assign homework accordingly.
• Guide students who use English as a second language (primarily Chinese students) to actively use learned English expressions; correct and address pronunciation and grammar errors.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
• Preferred Qualifications (Pluses):
• Proficiency in Chinese (a huge plus).
• Teaching experience with Chinese or other Asian students.
• Possession of a CELTA teaching certificate.
• Experience teaching standardized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, AP, A-Level, Cambridge Young Learners Exams (KET, PET, etc.).
• Familiarity with teaching materials such as Power UP, Reach Higher, Reading Wonders, THiNK, Reading Explorer, Great Writers, etc.

Working Hours:

• Fully flexible schedule.
• Preference for teachers available during China time zone hours, Monday to Friday, 17:00-23:00.

Salary:

• 8−15 USD per 50−minute 1 on 1 class
• Kids English Class: 5% bonus per class.
• Trial Class: 10% bonus per class.
