We're specifically looking to strengthen our team with native English speakers who can bring authentic language expertise to our IELTS preparation materials.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Learning Designer (Native English Speaker), you will leverage your native language proficiency to create authentic, high-quality educational content for our IELTS preparation platforms. You'll bring valuable cultural and linguistic insights to our materials, ensuring they reflect natural English usage and prepare students effectively for real-world language applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create authentic, culturally relevant educational content that reflects native English usage
• Develop IELTS preparation materials with natural language patterns, idioms, and expressions
• Review existing content to enhance authenticity and identify areas for improvement
• Provide expert insights on nuances of English language usage across different contexts
• Work with our multinational team to ensure content is accessible to non-native learners while maintaining authenticity
• Contribute to pronunciation guides and speaking practice materials
• Create writing samples and model answers that reflect expectations of IELTS examiners
• Collaborate with instructional designers to integrate authentic language into engaging learning experiences

QUALIFICATIONS

• Native English speaker (UK, US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or other native English-speaking country)
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field
• Experience in teaching English to non-native speakers or content development preferred
• Knowledge of IELTS exam structure and requirements (or willingness to learn)
• Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and vocabulary range
• Cultural awareness and ability to adapt communication for international learners
• Creativity in explaining complex language concepts in accessible ways
• Basic understanding of digital learning platforms
• Interest in working in a diverse, multicultural environment
• TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus but not required

CAREER GROWTH

First Year - Learning Designer:

• Develop expertise in IELTS preparation and educational content creation
• Build a portfolio of authentic English learning materials
• Learn from our diverse team about student needs across different language backgrounds
• Receive mentorship from senior team members

After One Year - Senior Learning Designer: Promotion based on:

• Quality and impact of developed learning materials
• Positive feedback from students and team members
• At least one recommendation from Academic Director

As a Senior Learning Designer, you will:

• Take ownership of English content development across multiple products
• Provide language expertise consultation for other departments
• Mentor non-native team members on English language nuances
• Lead content enhancement initiatives focusing on authenticity

Future Growth Opportunities:

• Content Development Lead
• Language Specialist Team Lead
• Associate Product Architect (for those who develop leadership abilities)

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

• Probation Period: 2 months
• Probation Salary: 85% of base salary during the probation period
• Full Salary: Commences upon successful completion of the probation period
• Contract: Annual renewal based on performance and meeting specified conditions
• Expatriate Benefits: Housing allowance, health insurance, annual home leave
• Work Visa: Full assistance with work permit and visa processes
