Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Public Speaking Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching learners of various ages and skill levels the art of effective public speaking. This includes helping students build confidence, improve their speaking skills, and develop their ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.

Responsibilities:

Instruction:

• Develop and deliver engaging public speaking lessons and workshops.
• Teach students techniques for managing public speaking anxiety.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their speaking performances.

Curriculum Development:

• Create and update course materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assignments.
• Incorporate multimedia resources and interactive elements into lessons.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Assess student performance through presentations, speeches, and other speaking activities.
• Provide regular feedback and progress reports to students and parents (if applicable).

Mentorship and Support:

• Offer one-on-one coaching and mentoring to help students achieve their individual goals.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, English, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. Experience:
   • Have a long history working in the business/ corporate world
   • Proven experience as a public speaking instructor, speech coach, or similar role.
   • Experience working with corporate senior, or managing level.
3. Skills:
   • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
   • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
   • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
   • Proficient in using technology and multimedia tools for teaching purposes.
4. Personal Attributes:
   • Passionate about public speaking and teaching.
   • Patient, supportive, and able to motivate students.
   • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
5. Preferred Qualifications:
   • Certification in public speaking or related areas.
   • Experience with virtual teaching platforms.
   • Background in theater, debate, or performance arts.
