JOB SUMMARY
- Teaching CEFR Academic English classes; or IELTS.
- Evaluating students’ progress, making sure to follow the center’s roadmap to help students achieve the desired output.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1/ Teaching assigned classes
- Take classes as assigned
- Perform teaching duties and administrative activities related to teaching (which may include extra-curricular activities).
- Be responsible for lesson planning, preparation, and assessment of students, and attending certain other training/events as required by the company.
- Provide appropriate feedback on written work
- Manage and track the performance of students measuring this progress against key performance indicators in line with the center‘s curriculum
2/ Student reviews
- Write comments about each student through each lesson (no later than 24 hours after each lesson), test, and at the end of each course
3/ Others
- Responsible for supporting other departments in the general activities of the company.
- Participate in performing other tasks as assigned by the Center Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and relevant experience
- At least a Bachelor‘s Degree from an accredited university
- Has more than one year of experience teaching Academic English to kids.
- Holding Diploma, Bachelor or Master’s Degree from an accredited university and Teaching qualification (CELTA/TESOL/TEFL or equivalent).
- For IELTS class: IELTS 8.0
- Being familiar with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Gmail, …) will be a plus.
- Holding strong confidence, excellent communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills. Passionate about language learning and interested in long-term career opportunities.
- Available on weekday evenings and weekends full day is a must.
WORKING TIME
- Flexible – according to the center’s shift arrangement and teacher’s available schedule.
- Teaching shifts:
- Weekday: 4 PM – 6 PM
- Weekend: 9 AM – 11 AM; 3 PM – 5 PM
- 1 – 2 sessions/class/week
